Get Ready for GeekFest 2012
GeekFest is T4G’s annual showcase of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurialism.
Our goal is to light a fire under our ongoing innovation efforts and give our employees a chance to show off their skills and passions. It’s an open playing field for new ideas, new takes on old ones, and all-around geekiness! Bring your pocket protectors!
GeekFest is also a gathering of our friends, our customers and our partners. It’s not a dog-and-pony show with everyone suit-and-tied and on their best behaviour. It’s a casual chance to come together and share and discuss ideas. GeekFest will be a success if everybody goes back to their jobs the next morning a little more fired up than usual!
OK, but what is it?.
GeekFest is an event. A party. A bit of a break from the routines of the day. It is the absolute best thing to do with your evening on Wednesday, March 7th… no foolin’.
The event will run from 6:00 to 11pm and is by invite only. It includes a reception with cocktails and lots of great food, a casual tradeshow, some great exhibits courtesy of the Ontario Science Centre, an ideas competition inspired by the CBC’s Dragon’s Den, and a special keynote presentation.
